Hydralada Sales is the mobile app of Hydralada. One of our main priorities is the privacy of the people who use it. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, why, and what we do with it.

Consent

By using the app, you consent to this Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.

Information we collect

Anyone can read the news and browse the products in the app without giving us any personal information.

If you send us a message from the app, we receive your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and the message itself.

The signed-in part of the app is for the Hydralada sales team, whose accounts are set up by the company. An account holds the person's name, email address, phone number, city and country, and the app keeps a sign-in token on the device so they stay signed in. Signed-in staff also see the company's sales records (deals, customer companies and their contacts), which come from the company's customer relationship management system.

The app checks our update server for new versions of its screens. Each check sends the app version and a random identifier the app creates when it is first opened. That identifier is not linked to you or to your device.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Reply to the messages you send us
• Provide, operate and maintain the app for the sales team
• Deliver updates to the app
• Keep the app secure and find and fix faults

Log files

Like most online services, our servers keep log files of the requests they receive. These include the internet protocol (IP) address, device and browser type, and the date and time of each request. We use them to run and secure the service, not to identify you.

Sharing

We do not sell your information or use it for advertising. The app shows no ads and contains no third-party analytics or tracking. Your information is only handled by the providers that host our servers and deliver our email, and by our customer relationship management provider for the sales records, each of them solely to provide that service to us.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep messages for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and for our business records, and staff accounts for as long as the person works with Hydralada. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing sales@hydralada.com.

Security

Everything the app sends and receives travels encrypted over HTTPS, and passwords are stored only in hashed form.

Your data protection rights

Every user is entitled to the following:

• The right to access: you can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• The right to rectification: you can ask us to correct information you believe is inaccurate or incomplete.
• The right to erasure: you can ask us to delete your personal information.
• The right to object to processing: you can object to our processing of your personal information, under certain conditions.

If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us.

Children's information

Hydralada Sales is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information in the app, please contact us and we will promptly remove it from our records.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
